This is an identity that I created for our degree show in 2008. It's quite a conceptual piece, and a lot of development went into it. Because of the wide range of courses available within the school of Art, Design and Media, I decided to use the metaphor of white light (being made up of all the colours of the spectrum) being akin to our faculty. The designs also used a lot of purple in the photography based backgrounds - the colour of the university.
To fulfil the brief, I had to design an invitation that would be sent through the mail, an A2 poster, signage for use at the event, and labels for describing the work on display.
