I am Ed Barlow, a web designer in Woking, Surrey. I graduated in 2008, with an upper second class degree in Design for Interactive Media at the University of Portsmouth.
The course I took was based more around the conceptual than a traditional web design course. Rather than just learning the technical side of web development, we were also expected to come up with creative solutions to briefs, and create interactive user experiences, rather than simple websites.
I enjoy working with actionscript and in flash, as they allow me to create more interactive pieces for the web.
I'm currently self employed, but have been working very closely with a web design company in Woking since August 2008, working mostly on design with some flash development aspects.
